This is a team taught course with Dr. Keith Cooper giving the majority of the lectures. The topics covered in the course include general principals of toxicology and how biochemical pathways relate to the mechanisms of action. The course has three exams including the Final and a required paper. Students taking the course should have taken a biochemistry course or should have other comparable courses before taking the course. This is an upper level biochemistry elective that is open to graduate students or public health students.

The course will be offered in the Fall semester starting in 2001.
